…One last thing that continues to impress me is the ongoing thought put into the events, celebrations, and free food in the lobby and around the building. It’s easy to do those things the first year to attract tenants, but Lucky continues to implement and improve year after year. That really says something about the customer service here.

Action central! Here you’ll find the hot tub, fire pit, grilling station, outdoor study tables, a sports court for pickle ball and basketball, outdoor TV, snuggle pods, and more.

I love the comfort and security that comes with living at Lucky. I can use it as an escape from the world if I am feeling stressed. In addition, it is right in the middle of everything, and I am within walking distance of all of my classes and other key places of interest.

Your new best friends! Our Doormen and Concierge team are your trusted welcome committee, there to greet you, help you, and “Hodor”, 24/7.
They keep an eye on the security cameras, help you if you get locked out, take care of any noise complaints, and most importantly – they let the late night delivery companies in the door, saving you a trip down to the lobby.
They also do concierge-y stuff to: arrange deliveries, make reservations, set appointments, provide plant and fish vacation care, arrange transportation, or provide reminder services. Just ask!

Meet the Luckiphant
LUCKY’S UNOFFICIAL, OFFICIAL MASCOT
If you’ve ever walked through the lobby of Lucky Apartments, you may have come face to face with a somewhat surprising sight: Lucky the “Luckiphant”.
Lucky comes to us from Rajasthan, India, and was chosen as a mascot for the building because an elephant with a raised trunk is a symbol of good luck in some regions of Asia.
In fact, we have documented cases of students who have rubbed her trunk for luck, and then have reported spectacular results on final exams. It should probably be noted that there are also reports of people rubbing Lucky’s trunk and doing poorly. We’re carefully compiling results before we can officially designate her a good luck charm. But, we’re pretty confident she’s on par with carrying the old rabbit’s foot or throwing a penny into a fountain.
Some other little known details:
- Lucky weighs four tons, a weight which makes her far less likely to “walk away” in the wee hours of the morning—but don’t you dare call her fat!
- Lucky was brought back home from India by owner Steve Brown, who enjoys traveling. Not sure how he fit Lucky in his overhead bin, but he seems to have managed.
- Lucky enjoys all the seasons. Residents of Lucky Apartments are often amused to see Lucky the Luckiphant decked out in décor that corresponds to the season. From St. Patrick’s Day green to Fourth of July red, white, and blue, the Luckiphant likes to get decked out to get you in the holiday spirit.
